Interfaith

An interfaith ceremony is a wedding between two people of different religious faiths. This may be different denominations of Christianity or Jewish-Christian, Pagan-Christian, or other pairings.

Many of the couples I work with choose to go with a secular ceremony so as to avoid offending their families. Others choose to find a more neutral ceremony that avoids practices specific to one denomination but still invokes God. Some decide to create a custom ceremony incorporating elements of both faiths.

I have a variety of resources, including Jewish and Pagan materials, to help couples create a ceremony that reflects who they are as individuals as well as who they are as a couple.

I specialize in customizing weddings to reflect the couples I work with. I'm more than willing to do whatever research is necessary to learn about your religious tradition if I haven't already encountered it. Whether a couple chooses to combine customs and texts from one or both texts or to go totally secular is entirely up to them.
