Services & Fees
Rev. Marcie D. B. McDonald, M. Div. offers a variety of services. Each ceremony is customized to fit the occasion and participants. She is willing to write new rituals as needed or to perform those provided by the client. Fees include travel within the Portland Metro area and Clark County, Washington. Travel fees may apply outside this area. Rev. McDonald is flexible about times and locations. Initial consultations are always free. She offers discounts to active duty members of the military.
Blessings.......$100
There are many kinds of blessings including the following: baby, house, pet, car/vehicle, etc.
Funerals and Memorials
Rev. officiates funerals and memorials for humans as well as their animal companions. Fees vary according to the specific requirements but generally break down as follows:
- Funeral or Memorial service........$400
- Service including internment.......$450
- Pet funeral or memorial...............$100
Baptism/Christening.......$150
Adults and teens old enough to give their consent who wish to dedicate themselves to the Christian faith and Jesus Christ but do not want to join a specific denomination can do so. Rev. McDonald also christens babies and young children whose parents wish for them to be dedicated to Jesus and placed under his protection until they are old enough to be baptized.
Baby Naming.......$150
This ceremony is a way of welcoming a new baby into their family and community. It can also be combined with a christening or wiccaning for no additional charge.
Wiccaning.......$150
Pagans also have rituals much like christenings within their own faith tradition. Rev. McDonald is happy to work with Pagan parents to create a beautiful welcoming ritual based on their traditions.
Motherhood Ceremony.......$250
This is a deeply personal ritual designed to help a mother nearing her child's birth to prepare for the new arrival. Rev. McDonald meets with the mother-to-be to custom tailor her ceremony to her needs and personality.
Weddings/Renewal of Vows.......$150-$350

Divorce/Handparting.......$250
Unfortunately, marriages do not always last. When one ends, the former couple can feel a very real sense of loss. Sometimes having a ceremony to mark the end of the marriage can bring a sense of closure. Ceremonies are available for both couples and individuals.
Puberty/Midlife Rites.......$250
Are you looking for a way to hold a coming of age ceremony for an important child in your life that is not linked to a drivers license or the ability to buy alcohol? Or are you just looking to celebrate midlife rather than dread it? Rev. McDonald can help you create a memorable celebration.
Empty Nest Ritual.......$200
Has your last child gone off to college or just married and moved out of the family home? Many parents feel a mixture of happiness and loss. An Empty Nest ritual can help mark the occasion and help a family move on to their new challenges and status.
Speaking fee.......$250-$450
Rev. McDonald will offer an invocation (opening prayer or blessing) at your occasion, do pulpit infill, present a lecture, or a variety of other speaking engagements. Pricing varies according to the preparation time and the duration of the presentation.
Miscellaneous.......$150-$450
Do you have an idea for some sort of ritual or celebration but do not know how to pull it all together or perhaps even how to start? Rev. McDonald has created a number of new rituals from scratch to fit a variety of occasions. Pricing depends on the amount of time spent making arrangements and writing the ceremony.
